Oral Conscious Sedation
Oral Conscious Sedation is a popular treatment option for many people because it does not require the use of additional needles. Medications can be swallowed whole and/or crushed and administered sublingually (under the tongue). Medications given sublingually are absorbed into the bloodstream quicker, so it is a preferred option by many. Both methods are safe and effective.

IV Conscious Sedation
IV Sedation is preferred for more difficult procedures because it allows us to have better control over the level of sedation. It also allows us to give additional medications such as pain medicine and cortico-steroids if needed.
